Enterprises not only demand a solid theoretical foundation from candidates but also require a deep understanding of practical application. From this orientation, the seminar “Corporate Legal Affairs – A Practical Perspective” was organized, creating an opportunity for Law and Economic Law students to access real-world insights from experienced professionals.

    The seminar atmosphere was energized by two musical performances from first-year students. The combination of gentle melodies and youthful spirit created a light yet inspiring opening for the program.

    Following that, PhD. Nguyễn Văn Tân – Vice Rector delivered heartfelt orientation remarks. He consistently encouraged students to pursue long-term development through diverse approaches. In particular, the “startup” spirit for Lac Hong students was emphasized, reflecting strong expectations for a dynamic, resilient, and proactive younger generation.

    Understanding Commercial Arbitration: Mr. Nguyễn Đức – Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Commercial Arbitration Center clarified key aspects of commercial arbitration in a clear and accessible manner. From concepts and requirements to become an arbitrator to the advantages of this dispute resolution method, all were thoroughly analyzed along with important practical notes.

    Legal foundation – The cornerstone for sustainable business development: Bringing a different perspective, Mr. Phạm Ngọc Hưng – Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Commercial Arbitration Center approached the topic through real-life stories accumulated from over 20 years of business management and legal practice. According to him, a business cannot grow far without a solid legal foundation. His simple yet experience-rich stories helped students better understand the challenges of the working environment.

    Decoding the role of an in-house legal specialist: Ms. Phạm Thu Thủy – Legal Specialist at Nam Viet Food and Beverage JSC helped students clearly understand the specific work of an in-house legal professional through the lens of someone with over 10 years of experience. She emphasized essential factors for pursuing the career: proactiveness, flexibility, meticulousness, and a strong sense of responsibility.

    Students actively raised practical questions about career opportunities and pressures in the legal field.

    The final discussion session was highly engaging, with numerous questions from students revolving around job opportunities, competitive pressure, challenges in dispute resolution, and real-life situations in legal practice.     Closing the seminar, the program not only delivered knowledge but also played an important role in helping students clearly orient their career paths.
