Introduction

The Automotive Engineering Technology Department at Lac Hong University (Automotive Engineering Technology) was established in 2017 under Decision No. 4471/QD-BGDĐT signed on October 20, 2017, by the Ministry of Education and Training. This is one of the strong majors, providing technical manpower in the automotive industry for industrial zones in Dong Nai province and neighboring areas. To date, there have been over 300 graduates, and more than 90% of them have found good employment in their field of expertise. Most of them work for companies operating in the automotive sector in Dong Nai province and neighboring areas such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Tay Ninh, and Binh Phuoc. Some students have pursued Master's degrees and become lecturers at various Vietnamese universities. The curriculum and teaching programs are continuously improved and developed, particularly focusing on developing students' skills to meet the demands of the industry. Each graduate from the program is equipped with fundamental knowledge, specialized knowledge, practical skills, communication skills, effective teamwork skills, and good ethics.

Automotive Engineering Technology belongs to the field of automation and control engineering technology. This field integrates knowledge from various fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical-Electronics, and Machine Manufacturing Technology. Graduates can engage in activities related to automotive design, manufacturing, operation, and technical services – common modes of transportation.
